Last we left our heroes, Rocky & Bullwinkle were feeling the sting of their box office lack of success from their early 2000’s film, The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle. Yes, our heroes have been lingering… waiting for their big comeback. But… it didn’t come. While their pal Peabody and Sherman off living it up Hollywood to raving reviews and a new Emmy-award winning Netflix show, Rocky and Bullwinkle stayed back at home in Frostbite Falls…
Until one day… a scientist named Reese Urcher was mountain climbing and re-found Upsidaisium! And on Mt. Flatten no less!
But any fan of Rocky & Bullwinkle may remember that the U.S. Government mined Mt. Flatten… so, it begs the question: How did Reese Urcher find Upsidaisium? And if a few scientists know about it, but the world doesn’t, why not? Reese first heads off to the person who owns the deed to Mt. Flatten… one Bullwinkle J. Moose. In a tale of revenge from someone from their past, Bullwinkle and Rocky overcome the frustrations of living with each other for a long time, and of course, Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale to figure out the mystery of Upsidaisium!
During their run, Boris and Natasha though begin to realize that times have changed too much: anti-heroes… aka bad guys who end up being good guys are the new thing. Confused at being bad good bad good guys, our tale ends with Boris and Natasha questioning everything!
